I’m taking my ClassPass reviews on the road this summer and up first is the Best ClassPass Classes Austin edition. I lived in Austin for many many years and taught yoga at some of the best studios in Austin. The Austin fitness community holds a special place in my heart: they keep it weird, they keep it real and well, they simply rock. So, it is my pleasure to present this review of my favorite classes on ClassPass Austin.

Austin is a great “city in the country” vacation spot and also an idilic place to live (minus the traffic on I35…!). Plus there’s always South by Southwest, Austin City Limits, the world’s best breakfast tacos, cold springs…I love Austin. So get on ClassPass and get your fitness on in America’s official “Keep It Weird” city.
An old yoga friend of mine, Malia Scott, opened this studio a few years back. Say OM offers an array of yoga classes from seasonal paddleboard yoga to HeartCore vinyasa. Definitely try one of Malia’s classes when you get a chance…she will take you to that ultimate blissed out state!

If you want to dance with the creme de la creme of professional dancers in Austin, this is where you should head to! Ballet Austin runs a fantastic center for dance and fitness so you can pirouette and sache just like a pro. In addition to their dance classes, they also have great restorative classes like their foam roller class (highly recommended!).
According to ClassPass:
Ballet Austin is an innovative dance center that provides beginner to advanced dance classes and workshops for the adult community. Come be inspired to make dance a regular part of your workout routine.

Black Lagoon combines an arts space within a yoga space. Head over to Black Lagoon Yoga and try out Leigh Fisher’s classes. You will not be disappointed. Girlfriend delivers a seriously creative vinyasa flow, and she really knows her stuff. She also runs teacher trainings from Texas to Mexico.

Pure Pilates Austin offers the intense Lagree method on the “Mega Former” that all the stars in Hollywood swear by. I also swear by it, both literally and metaphorically as it is really really hard causing most people to curse at some point mid workout. If you’re in North Austin, they have another location at the Domain: 11011 Domain Dr, Ste 115, Austin, TX 78758.

I’m a little biased on this review as I used to work here, but I did attend classes before I even worked at this studio. It is a very family oriented studio, from babies to teens they have kids classes covered.
