The Best Dark Circle Treatment For Under Eyes

I have had several facialists and beauty experts tell me the best dark circle treatment for under eyes has to do with illuminizing. For the past year I have been trying everything under the sun to help banish those dark circles that appear after not drinking enough water throughout the day, not getting enough sleep, and in the winter, not getting enough sun!

After trying so many products (thanks Sephora, Birchbox, and all the lovely ladies at beauty counters across NYC), I’m happy to report I have found an amazing 3 pronged approach to getting rid of dark under eye circles.

The Best Dark Circle Treatment For Under Eyes

Step 1: Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Repair Eye Serum

$83 At Sephora

Laura Mercier’s Eye Serum has an illuminizing effect that gives you instant results for dark circles, Queen Cheap tested and approved. It is also highly repairing with arnica, geranium extract, and Japanese botanicals!

USAGE TIP: A little really does go a long way. I prefer to not use the pump on my bottle, as sometimes the pump dispenses too much and you can’t get it back in the bottle. This stuff, while a reasonable price, is not super cheap, so treat it like liquid gold.

MONEY SAVING TIP: If you cannot afford the $83 sticker price, just go to your local Sephora and ask them for a sample. The employees will make you a sample right there to take home in a small plastic container. You can work this trick for many months to come until you’ve saved up enough for an entire bottle.

This serum helps improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles and instantly brightens the eye area with a blend of soothing Japanese botanicals. Geranium extract helps firm the appearance of skin, while Arnica Extra and caffeine brighten the look of dark circles.

Suggested Usage:
-Apply every morning and/or evening to cleansed skin.
-Gently pat a small amount from the outer to the inner corner of the under-eye area

Step 2: Laura Mercier High Coverage Concealer For Under Eye

This product both covers dark circles AND helps de-puff at the same time! The ingredients include

  • Honey: Nourishes and calms skin.
  • Malic (Fruit Acid): Smooths skin.
  • Vitamin E: Protects against environmental stressors.

The coverage this product offers is amazing. My dark circles literally vanished. Queen Cheap tested and approved!

USAGE TIP: Go to your local Laura Mercier retailer to match the right color for you, there are so many color variations, and with under eye circles, the right color is key! Lighter is better!

Step 3: Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder

The final step to covering under eye circles is Laura Mercier’s Secret Brightening Powder. I think they should rename this to secret magic miracle powder. I look 5 years younger when I put this on under my eyes.

A Laura Mercier makeup artist taught me to apply it over my eye concealer. You can also apply it to the eyelids as well. The effect is INSTANT brightening! Queen Cheap tested and approved.
