Until now! I turned to my new favorite Spa Book (only .01 on Amazon!)
This book takes all the wisdom from ancient Indonesian beauty rituals and combines it into several DIY beauty recipes. Many of the recipes use simple ingredients that you probably already have in your fridge. The book also lists different benefits from different ingredients, allowing you to make your own concoction based on your needs. Which is what I did yesterday. See below for my new recipe that will leave your hair silky soft and not oily!
Easy DIY Hair Mask For Dry Damaged Blonde Hair
**If you are not blonde, then you can just remove the lemon from the recipe
Adjust the recipe for hair length
2-3 Tablespoons Coconut Oil
10 Drops Lavender
1/2 Lemon juiced
Saran wrap or plastic cap
1. Combine ingredients in a blender.
2. Mix until creamy.
3. Work the mixture into dry hair starting from the roots to the ends.
4. Wrap your hair in a plastic cap or saran wrap.
5. Leave on for 20 minutes to an hour.
6. Wash out and shampoo 2-3 times to make sure you get the oil out.
My hair is absolutely gorgeous today!! It was severely dry from all of the hot yoga I”ve been doing lately. Today it is silky smooth. This mask is amazing!!!
