The Lululemon Osei Duro collaboration will be released July 16 at the Vancouver, B.C. lab store. I’m predicting a huge fan fervor over this line. Pieces will be available to purchase online only on Garmentory.com No info YET on price points…typical Osei Duro pieces start around $200 and up. Check out a glimpse of the Lululemon Osei Duro collaboration pieces below.
Osei Duro is based out of Ghana and they produce absolutely gorgeous patterns and designs. According to the Lululemon Lab blog from their September 2014 speaking event with Osei Duro:
“Maryanne Mathias and Molly Keogh developed Osei-Duro to create socially responsible and sustainable clothing that encourages international/intercultural cooperation. The designers integrate West African textiles with contemporary Western clothing design.”
I’ve been a big fan of Osei Duro’s tunics for a while, there are quite a few Brooklyn boutiques who carry the line. The piece below (found at Bhoomki Brooklyn) was popular tunic on my Instragram:
Luluelmon Osei Duro Lookbook
The Lululemon Osei Duro lookbook has been popping up all over the internet today. The model’s shapes have a very yoga blended with modern dance look. The photographs themselves have a very 70s filter to them. I love the patterns, but who doesn’t love Osei Duro patterns? Great idea for a collab Lululemon. Looking forward to wearing the line!
